December 2014
Every day in British Columbia, vulnerable children, youth, and families are falling through the cracks of an under-resourced and over-stretched child welfare system. The campaign focuses on those affected the most...children. The hard hitting message helps to refocus on reinvesting in child, youth, and family services, arguing that social workers are in a state of crisis due to intolerable workloads.

creative approach
Both videos use silent emotional portraiture — no dialogue, no narration, just children's vulnerable faces in tight close-ups.
"Voiceless" shows children crying, establishing that BC's vulnerable kids have no voice. "KidsNotCaseFiles" adds a powerful visual metaphor: sticky labels on children's foreheads representing bureaucratic dehumanization.
Raw authenticity over polish. Minimalist design amplifies emotional impact, forcing viewers to confront uncomfortable reality without distraction.
